Two juveniles were arrested Sunday after they were seen allegedly prowling in a backyard and ringing doorbells in San Leandro, according to police. The boys were spotted by a resident in the yard of a home on Alvarado Street shortly before 10 a.m., police Lt. Troy Young said. The witness told police he had seen the boys ringing doorbells earlier and knew they did not live in the area. Officers located the juveniles nearby, and they were both arrested on suspicion of prowling. One was also arrested for possession of burglary tools, Young said.
