John Mullin ormer employee of the Ben Davis Company arrested for allegedly embezzling

Novato police arrested a former employee of the Ben Davis Company Thursday on suspicion of embezzling over $100,000 from the Novato-based company. Police detectives responded to a residence in the Hidden Valley Lake area in Lake County at about 10:35 a.m. According to police, 44-year-old Hidden Valley Lake resident, John Patrick Mullin, was arrested following an ongoing embezzlement investigation. The investigation revealed that Mullin, a former employee at the Ben Davis Company, embezzled over $100,000 worth of merchandise from the company between April 2008 and April 2012, police said.
