Skyline High School in the Oakland hills was evacuated this afternoon after it received a phoned-in bomb threat, a school district spokesman said. Students were told to exit the school after the threat was received at about 12:40 p.m., but they were allowed to return around 2 p.m. after no bomb was found, Oakland Unified School District spokesman Troy Flint said. Flint said no one was injured and that students at the school, located at 12250 Skyline Blvd., gathered on the football field while police and firefighters searched the campus.
