Edward Mendoza Wanted by US Marshal’s Office on Federal Narcotics Warrants

Update: Mendoza has been arrested.

The US Marshal’s Office is currently seeking Edward Mendoza on a warrant charging him with federal narcotics violations.  According to deputy marshals, Mendoza was arrested in 1994 in the San Diego area for Transportation of Narcotics.  He was allegedly transporting narcotics from Mexico when he was stopped by federal agents and arrested.  He was released from jail pending his trial and  later failed to appear in court.

Edward Mendoza assumed the alias of Domingo Mendoza and  moved to Medford, Oregon.  While living there he obtained an Oregon driver’s license using his alias Domingo Mendoza.  His true identity was discovered when he became involved in a serious drunk driving, hit and run traffic accident.  He was taken to the hospital but unfortunately, he fled the hospital and was able to escape arrest.

He has been able to elude law enforcement for over 20 years. He is originally from San Jose and he may visit or stay with family or friends there.  The photo above of Mendoza fraudulent Oregon driver’s license and is  over 5 years old.
