Two suspects remain at large today after committing an armed robbery in Watsonville Sunday night, police said. At about 9:20 p.m., two masked men entered Roger’s Diner, located at 11 Green Valley Road, according to police. One suspect was armed with either a rifle or shotgun, and the other suspect approached the cashier and demanded the money from the register, police said.

That suspect reached over the counter and grabbed the cash drawer, which had an undisclosed amount of cash, and then both suspects fled the restaurant on foot, police said. The two suspects ran east on Green Valley Road for about half a block and then entered a four-door silver car and continued east, according to police. No injuries were reported in the robbery.
