The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspected gang-related stabbing near Santa Rosa on Sunday night that injured a 16-year-old boy. Two male suspects confronted the teen at about 8:30 p.m. near McMinn and Hughes avenues in the Roseland area, Lt. Glenn Lawrence said. The victim was stabbed in the back during the confrontation and suffered a punctured lung, Lawrence said. He was taken to a hospital, where he was listed in stable but guarded condition, sheriff’s officials said. Investigators believe the suspects may have gang ties, and the stabbing is believed to be gang-related, Lawrence said.
