A young man who was stabbed near the Richmond BART station late Sunday night remains in critical condition this afternoon, a police detective said. Officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the area of Marina Way and Metro Walk Way just before midnight, Lt. Bisa French said. When officers arrived, they found an 18- or 19-year-old man suffering from a stab wound, French said. He was transported to a hospital and underwent surgery.
The man is in critical but “somewhat stable” condition, Detective Nicole Abetkov said today. No suspect information was immediately available. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
