Citibank Robbed in Livermore, Police Released Suspect Photo

Police have released a photo of the suspect who robbed a bank in Livermore on Thursday afternoon and are asking the public for assistance in identifying him. At about 1:30 p.m., a man demanded money from a teller at a Citibank branch located at 2150 Portola Ave. and indicated he had a gun, police said. The suspect then fled the bank. The amount of cash stolen has not been released and the suspect has not been located, according to police.
Witnesses described the suspect as a white man between 25 and 30 years old, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall with a heavy build, weighing between 220 and 250 pounds, police said. He had brown or red sideburns with a light mustache and goatee, according to witnesses interviewed by police. He was wearing a red baseball hat with a black bill, dark sunglasses, and a black hooded sweatshirt at the time of the robbery. The suspect indicated that he had a gun, but no weapon was seen, police said.
