Two masked men robbed a Watsonville bank Monday afternoon and abandoned a stolen Cadillac as they fled, police said. The two suspects entered the Comerica Bank at 1998 Main St. at 2:40 p.m. brandishing guns. There were six customers and 10 employees inside the bank at the time of the robbery, and none were injured as the suspects took cash from the bank and fled, according to police
According to police, the suspects drove away from the bank in a 2000 Cadillac Escalade that was later found nearby. The car had been reported stolen out of Salinas. One suspect is between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and tan gloves, police said.
The second suspect is between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black gloves, according to police. Both suspects’ faces were covered with black masks.
