Driver Arrested on DUI Charges After Car Crashes into Gas Station in Novato

A Novato man was arrested on drunk driving charges this afternoon after his car crashed with several objects and rolled over on Enfrente Road, according to police. The vehicle driven by Wells Wadsworth Constantine III, a 43-year-old Novato resident, exited southbound U.S. Highway 101 at Enfrente Road around 2:30 p.m. today at a high rate of speed, according to Sgt. Jennifer Dunlap.

The vehicle struck several objects and rolled over before coming to a rest in the parking lot of a Shell station at 401 Enfrente Road. Constantine was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital before being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, Dunlap said.
