A registered sex offender was arrested in San Jose early this morning after a woman awoke to find him inside her home, police said. The woman, who lives in the first block of Southbrook Drive near where U.S. Highway 101 meets state Highway 85, woke up at about 3:15 a.m., saw the man standing over her and screamed, police Sgt. Jason Dwyer said. She ran out of her home, and the man also fled, police said. Officers responded to the home within about a minute and a half, Dwyer said.

The suspect was found nearby and arrested. He was identified as a 29-year-old transient and registered sex offender who was on parole for burglary, Dwyer said. Police have not yet released the man’s name. The woman was not injured, and police are continuing to investigate the incident.

  • This arrest has made news all throughout the internet, the news, way more than any arrest I have seen. Yet all that is written is how he is guilty, how he is such a dangerous suspect. How this is a really important arrest. Yet the emphasis is on HE IS A REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER . And says she awoke with him in her room. The facts being, he is not registered on any SEX OFFENDERS sight, even the news achor stated,” he is not on any registry because his crime was not that bad”. I believe Ryan is being slandered and judged before he even hs his first court date. The underwear in his pockets….I bet that answer is only one that most men only think happens in the movies. But seriously Ryan has been nothing but determined to be guilty by the press and the police department, yet none of you were there. Im totally in dismay over this.
