Efrain Fregoso arrested for alleged Stabbing at Longhouse Restaurant/bar in Gilroy

A bar fight turned into a stabbing at a Gilroy bar late Saturday night, Gilroy police said. Officers responded around 11:50 p.m. to the Longhouse Restaurant, located at 8195 Monterey Road, where a 36-year-old man was found at the entrance of the bar with numerous stab wounds to his back, police said. He was taken to a trauma center by air. Police determined three men were in a fight with the victim, including 23-year-old Efrain Fregoso. Fregoso was arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide. Police are searching for the two other men involved in the fight.
