Xavier Robinson Arrested About Alleged Burglary of Home in San Leandro

An Antioch man who allegedly burglarized a San Leandro home was arrested by police Friday following a chase through nearby neighborhood yards, according to the Police Department. The San Leandro Police Department received a call of a burglary in progress at about 11:50 a.m. Witnesses said two men had entered the rear yard of a home in the 14900 block of Endicott Street.
As officers arrived, one of the suspects, Xavier Robinson, 21, was allegedly seen running from the burglarized home. A perimeter was set up. Robinson ran through yards and on the roof of a nearby home before he was taken into custody on Fargo Avenue, police said. The second suspect, described as a man between 18 and 20 years old, with a medium build and wearing a T-shirt and jeans, has not been apprehended.
