Police are investigating an interrupted home burglary reported in Danville this morning, a town spokesman said. Officers responded this morning to reports of a break-in at a home in the area of Fountain Springs Circle, Danville town spokesman Geoff Gillette said. Someone was able to report the burglary to authorities before the suspect left the scene, but no arrests had been made in the case as of this afternoon.

The suspect is described as a white man in his early 20s who is about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs between 130 and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, a black hoodie, a beanie, and a green and black bandana.

Anyone who sees the suspect is encouraged to call 911.
