Three Sonoma Valley Businesses Cited For Selling Alcohol To Minors In Sting Operation

Three businesses in the Sonoma Valley area are facing license violations from the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control after selling alcohol to underage decoys as part of a sting operation Friday.The sting, run by Sonoma police, was set up in the city of Sonoma and surrounding areas, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office. Round Table Pizza, Hop Monk Tavern and Pizzeria Capri were all cited for selling alcohol to an underage decoy, the sheriff’s office said. The employees who gave the alcohol to the minors, as well as the businesses, are being referred to the ABC for administrative license violations, according to the sheriff’s office.
