Petaluma Police Searching For Suspect Who Fired Shots Into The Air Sunday Morning

Police in Petaluma are looking for a person who was seen firing shots from a car early this morning. Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Washington and Kentucky streets at about 12:50 a.m., police said. When police arrived, they found three 40-caliber shell casings on the street, according to police. A witness told officers that a passenger in a black Lexus sedan with 24-inch, chrome-rimmed tires fired three shots in the air, according to police. The car fled from Washington Street and was last seen entering northbound U.S. Highway 101, police said.
