A male suspect was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon today in connection with the stabbing of a male victim in East San Jose, a police spokesman said. The suspect and the stabbing victim were arguing at a residence in the 1700 block of Cortez Avenue a block west of South King Road near Story Road, police spokesman Officer Albert Morales said. Police responded to the reported stabbing at about 5:24 p.m., Morales said. The wounded male was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the suspect was placed under arrest, Morales said
