Police arrested a 19-year-old man suspected of shooting out lights in a parking lot on Hangar Avenue with a pellet gun in Novato on Tuesday. Christopher Meyer West, of Novato, was arrested for felony vandalism around 11:50 p.m. as he drove in the 700 block of Redwood Boulevard in Novato, Lt. Jennifer Welch said. West was booked in the Marin County jail under $10,000 bail. The numerous shootings occurred between Jan. 23 and Feb. 11. The damage to the lights is estimated at $18,000, Welch said.
