A man toting a gun while riding a three-wheeler through a Richmond neighborhood this afternoon was arrested after a brief pursuit, police said. Officers responded to the area of Harbour Way South and Florida Avenue around 1:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a man holding a gun while riding a three-wheel vehicle, Detective Nicole Abetkov said.

Abetkov said the man was not brandishing the weapon and no one was injured. Upon seeing the officers, the man fled on his vehicle, prompting a short foot chase. Police were quickly able to stop the man and detained him. The suspect, whose name has not been released, was arrested for alleged firearm possession.
