Police are looking for two men who shot at a group of people in Watsonville this afternoon. Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 200 block of Rodriguez Street at 1:46 p.m. Although no victims were found, officers found a beige SUV with a flat tire that appears to have been shot at, police said. Police have determined that an altercation between two groups led to a suspect with a gun firing at one of the groups of people. That suspect is described as a man in his 20s wearing a white T-shirt and shorts.

The gun was described as a black semi-automatic handgun. Another suspect was involved in the shooting. He was described as a man between 18 and 20 years old who was wearing a tan shirt and shorts. All those in the groups fled the area. Anyone with information about the shooting has been asked to call Watsonville Police Department’s investigations bureau at (831) 768-3350 or a tip line at (831) 768-3544.
