A 70-year-old Salinas man was arrested today after he allegedly groped an 11-year-old girl on a Greyhound bus in San Jose early this morning, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office. Maximiliano Aguirre was booked into Santa Clara County Jail today on suspicion of lewd acts against a person under 14, a felony, and sexual battery, a misdemeanor, sheriff’s Sgt. Jose Cardoza said.
Aguirre was detained and arrested in San Jose around 5:45 a.m. today after passengers on a Greyhound bus traveling from Los Angeles to San Jose told the driver he had touched their daughter, Cardoza said. The driver immediately pulled over and called 911, Cardoza said.
