Cars Doing Doughnuts on Freeway 880 Caught on Tape-Watch Videos Here

The California Highway Patrol is investigating videos that were posted online this weekend of several cars doing “doughnuts” on Interstate Highway 880 in Oakland, a CHP sergeant said. Multiple videos have been posted on YouTube and Facebook that show the cars driving in circles on northbound I-880 near the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Complex in the middle of the day.

The CHP is looking for any information that might help identify the vehicles or drivers, Sgt. David Chesson said. Chesson said the videos were posted online Saturday but that it is not yet clear when they were taken.

One of the videos, taken by a passing motorist on the southbound side of I-880, can be seen below:

The drivers fled after someone in one of the videos can be heard saying the police were coming. That video can be seen below:
