Veruschka Hedgeman arrested in Mill Valley on suspicion of burglary and theft

Mill Valley police arrested a San Francisco woman early this morning on suspicion of burglary and theft. Police responded to yelling and screaming in the area of 14 Nelson Ave. around 5:30 a.m., Detective Sgt. Paul Wrapp said. Officer Joe Jordan found 34-year-old Veruschka Hedgeman of San Francisco on a bicycle, Wrapp said. A resident of a Nelson Avenue home informed Jordan a bicycle and a computer were stolen from his home during a burglary, Wrapp said. Hedgeman was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and on an outstanding warrant, Wrapp said. Hedgeman was booked into the Marin County jail for burglary and grand theft and being in a residence without the owner’s permission. She is being held under $50,000 bail.
