Belmont police are on the lookout for a man who exposed himself to a woman walking along Hiller Street in a residential area of the city over the weekend. A woman told police she was walking on Hiller Street at Marine View Avenue at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday when a man driving a dark red, early 1990s four-door Toyota Camry pulled up alongside her and asked for directions. When the woman walked closer to the vehicle, she said the suspect exposed himself to her, according to Belmont police.
The woman turned and continued to walk away while the suspect drove south on Hiller Street, according to police. The suspect is described as a clean-shaven, heavyset man in his 20s with a medium complexion and short, dark, straight hair. He spoke English with no accent and was wearing black oversized square sunglasses.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Belmont Police Department at (650) 595-7400.
