Union Bank branch in Greenbrae Robbed

Police are trying to locate a man who robbed a Union Bank branch in Greenbrae on Wednesday evening. The suspect entered the bank, located at 575 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. near the Bon Air Center, around 5:40 p.m., gave a demand note to a teller and then left the bank with cash in a messenger bag or laptop-size bag, Central Marin Police Authority Sgt. Julie Gorwood said.

He is described as a white man in his 40s, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall, with blond hair, green eyes and scruffy facial hair, police said. He was wearing a gray beanie some sort of design on it and black clothing at the time of the crime. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police at (415) 927-5150.
