Two armed men robbed a pharmacy in South San Francisco on Wednesday morning, police said. Officers responded to reports of an armed robbery at Anchor Drugs at 161 South Spruce Ave. at about 9:20 a.m., South San Francisco police Sgt. Bruce McPhillips said. Two suspects in their late teens to early 20s had walked in and demanded pharmaceutical drugs, McPhillips said. It wasn’t immediately clear what types of drugs were taken, or whether the robbers also stole money, he said. Both men were armed with handguns, police said.

No one was injured in the robbery, and no shots were fired. The suspects fled in a newer-model Chevrolet Corvette with a black soft top. One suspect was described as an Asian man with a thin build around 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a gray hoodie, a black jacket, black pants and a black-and-orange baseball cap. The second suspect was a black man with a thin build around 6 feet tall. He was wearing a dark green jacket, black pants and a black baseball cap.
