Shooting Victim Crashes Car in Oakland

A shooting victim tried to drive away from the scene tonight but crashed his car in the process, an Oakland police officer said. The shooting was reported near the corner of 23rd Avenue and Foothill Boulevard at 8:32 p.m., Officer J. Moore said. One of two suspects shot at the victim. After the shooting, the victim got into a car and tried to drive away but got into an accident. No one else was injured. The victim was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition tonight, Moore said. The two suspects remain at large.
