Gerald Cecil Sedwick Jr. Wanted for Escape from Federal Facility

The U.S. Marshal’s Office is seeking a federal fugitive by the name of Gerald Cecil Sedwick Jr. Deputies report that Sedwick is accused of walking away from a halfway house in D.C., where he was supposed to finish out a three-and-a-half year sentence for a 2009 conviction for selling heroin while armed.
He has a rap sheet that includes arrests on charges of attempted murder, armed drug dealing and armed carjacking in the District and Prince George’s County.
Sedwick, who also uses the last name Sedgwick, has multiple tattoos, including one on his right bicep showing a person pointing a gun at three people and tribal tattoos on his left arm and a scar above his right eyebrow., He is known to frequent Suitland, Forestville, Temple Hills and the District of Columbia.
