Brutal Robbery of Elderly Woman Caught on Camera-Watch Video Here

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the man in this video. According to detectives, on December 20th, 2012, at about 9:25 a.m, this suspect allegedly beat and robbed a woman in an elevator on Washington Avenue in the Bronx.

As you can see in the surveillance video below, the suspect hangs around in the lobby, then follows the 57-year-old victim onto the elevator; he gets out one floor below the victim, then surprises her one stop later, pushing her back in and assaulting her.

The suspect took an unknown amount of money from the victim before fleeing. He is described as 17-20 years-old, 5’11″ in height, thin build, wearing a black Polo Jacket, black sweat pants and a black hat with a red stripe.
