A man is recovering after being injured in a gang-related shooting in San Jose Wednesday night, police said. Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area of Serenade Way and Lullaby Lane at about 8:40 p.m., Sgt. Jason Dwyer said. Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, Dwyer said. Dwyer said that an unknown number of suspects approached the victim and issued a “gang challenge” before shooting him. The victim was transported to a hospital and treated for injuries not considered life-threatening, he said. The suspects remain at large and the shooting is under investigation.
