Police are seeking the public’s help to find a man who robbed a market in Gilroy Sunday night, Gilroy police said. The robbery was reported at about 7:40 p.m. at the Gavilan Market, located at 8110 Westwood Drive, police said. A man, described as a 5-foot-8-inch Hispanic man weighing about 230 pounds, brandished a gun and demanded money, according to police.
An employee handed him an undisclosed amount of money and he fled north on Westwood Drive, police said. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call
