A man was fatally stabbed in North San Jose this morning marking San Jose’s 45th homicide of 2012, according to police. Shortly before 3 a.m., officers responded to the 1600 block of Oakland Road, located near the San Jose Municipal Golf Course, on a report of a man who had been stabbed. Officers located the victim suffering from at least one stab wound.
He was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3:38 a.m., according to police. No suspects have been identified and the motive for the homicide is under investigation, police said. The victim’s identity is being withheld until the victim’s family has been notified.
