Donte Anderson and Asan Hayes suspects in connection with a residential burglary in Newark arrested

Police have arrested two suspects in connection with a residential burglary in Newark on Thursday. At about 10 a.m., police responded to the 5600 block of Vinewood Street on a report of a suspicious vehicle and subjects. Officers arrived at the scene to discover an in-progress burglary at the residence. Police arrested Donte Anderson, of Oakland, and Asan Hayes, of Antioch, both 19 years of age, after a brief foot pursuit, police said. Both suspects have been booked on suspicion of burglary, according to police.
