A man entered the Orchard Market at 44547 Teague Ave. in King City at about 9:30 a.m., according to the sheriff’s office. The man, wearing a black sweatshirt with a black mask covering his face, brandished a small-caliber semi-automatic gun at the store’s clerk, the sheriff’s office said.
After demanding and receiving money from the register, the suspect backed out of the store while pointing the gun at the clerk and fled the area, according to the sheriff’s office. It is unknown in which direction the man fled.
