Two men wanted on child molestation charges in Redwood City were recently caught after fleeing the country and returned to California for prosecution, police said. Federal arrest warrants were issued for Antioch Camacho-Rodriguez, 40, and Manuel Jacinto, 39, after police determined the men had fled the country, according to Lt. Sean Hart.

Camacho-Rodriguez had been a fugitive since 2011, when he allegedly fled the country after being charged with 23 counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child and continuous sexual abuse of a child. He was arrested in Mexico following a joint investigation involving local, federal and Mexican authorities.

Jacinto fled the country in 2008 after he was charged with five counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a child, Hart said. He was eventually located in Guatemala and was returned to the United States with the help of federal and Guatemalan officials.
