San Jose homicide of 16-year-old on Fairhaven Drive

Police are investigating the shooting death of a teen in South San Jose this afternoon. Officers were called to the 1500 block of Fairhaven Drive at 3:20 p.m. on reports of a traffic collision. But when they arrived, police found a 16-year-old boy that had suffered at least one gunshot wound. He is the city’s 44rd homicide of the year, police said. No suspects have been identified in the shooting.
