The Solano County coroner’s office has identified the man who was found dead in the backyard of a Vallejo residence on Dec. 2 as 58-year-old Richard Romer of Vallejo. The cause of his death is pending toxicology tests, coroner’s Deputy Jackson Harris said. Romer’s body was found in the backyard of a residence in the 1200 block of Warren Avenue in unincorporated Vallejo around 12:40 p.m. Harris said it’s unknown if he lived there and when he died. An autopsy did not determine the cause of death, sheriff’s Lt. Brad DeWall said.
