Longview Police Officer Leigh Ann Snyder was fired a year after she was severely injured in the line of duty. On December 11, 2011, Officer Snyder was responding to a burglary alarm when she was hit, head on, by a drunk driver. Officer Snyder was left completely disabled and unable to return to her job as a police officer. She will be paid 70% of her salary for two years then left on her own.
