A man was fatally shot and another man was injured by gunfire late Friday night in East Oakland, according to police. Police received a report of a shooting at 11:48 p.m. near the intersection of E. 16th Street and Seminary Avenue, near the Rainbow Recreation Center. One victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said. The second victim was transported to a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds and is in stable condition, according to police. Police said two suspects with firearms were reported to have fled the scene in a vehicle following the shooting and remain at large.
