Washington DC Metro Transit Police have arrested two juveniles after an alleged cell phone robbery led to a fight on Metro. The incident was captured on camera. The suspects call themselves the 44th Street Crew. The fight was filmed by one of the gang members.

The video, which was posted on Facebook, shows the suspects intimidating several young girls on a Green Line Metro train. One of the girls whose phone was grabbed fought fiercely to get it back.

Metro Transit Police Deputy Chief Ron Pavlik says if passengers are confronted with this type of situation, they recommend giving up their property. “There’s nothing worth fighting over and getting assaulted for,” says Pavlik. “Be a good witness at that point,” adds Pavlik. Call 911. There are a lot of ways to deal with this situation better.”   WARNING VIDEO IS GRAPHIC, CONTAINS OBSCENITIES AND IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN
