Two Women Killed In Oakland In Sunday Morning Double Homicide

Two women were killed in a shooting in Oakland this morning, police said. Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 3700 block of Brookdale Avenue near Minna Avenue just before 6 a.m., according to Oakland police. Arriving police found two victims, both female, police said. The victims were taken to a hospital where they were pronounced dead. No arrests were made and no other information was immediately available. The shooting remains under investigation.
