Shots were fired at a home in Watsonville Friday evening in what is being investigated as a gang-related incident, police said today. The shooting was reported just after 5:30 p.m. Friday, when residents on Green Meadow Drive saw three or four men in a car circle the neighborhood and then fire shots at an unknown target on the 200 block, Sgt. Morgan Chappell said. Bullets were found in a garage door and a vehicle tire, but no one was injured.

Residents described the suspects as appearing to be gang members, police said. The vehicle was described as a 1999-2000 dark gray Honda four-door, lowered and with tinted windows, Chappell said. The shooting is being investigated as a gang-related incident. Community members are cooperating with police and assisting in developing leads, Chappell said.
