A 70-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint Friday in San Mateo by two suspects wearing handkerchiefs over their faces, police said today. The victim was robbed Friday around 3:15 p.. on the 1100 block of Tanglewood Way, according to police.

The suspects were described only as two Hispanic males and their suspect vehicle, driven by a third Hispanic male suspect, was described as a dark maroon or purple Nissan 4-door with paper license plates, police said. Anyone who witnessed this incident or has information on the suspects should contact San Mateo police immediately.
