Two Santa Rosa residents were arrested Thursday on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale and for endangering a 3-year-old child who lived in their home. When police responded around 2:20 a.m. Thursday to a domestic disturbance at a Bennett Valley residence, they suspected the two adults living there were selling marijuana, Santa Rosa police Sgt. Ron Nelson said. Officers found open bags of marijuana in the living area within reach of the child who lived there with the adults, Nelson said.
Narcotics officers then responded and found 9.4 pounds of processed marijuana, two pounds of dried, untrimmed marijuana, 21 pounds of dried loose-leaf pot and a ballistic vest, Nelson said. Police arrested Casey Robert Ambrose, 25, and Diana Berenice Guerrero, 24, for possession of marijuana for sale and child endangerment, Nelson said. The child was unharmed and placed in the care of relatives, according to Nelson.
