Police are attempting to locate a man who robbed a Pleasant Hill lingerie store at gunpoint on Tuesday night. An employee of Lingerie Etc. at 2298 Monument Blvd. reported around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday that a man armed with a shotgun had robbed the store, police said.

The suspect entered the business, pointed the gun at the employee and demanded money, according to police. He then reached into the register, grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash and fled. Officers searched the area with the help of a police K-9 unit but were unable to locate the suspect.

He is described as a Hispanic man in his mid-20s who is about 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build. The suspect was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a bandana covering his face. Police said investigators plan to review the store’s video surveillance footage of the incident.
