ID #12-315 Walnut Creek police have released surveillance photos of two men who kidnapped a woman leaving work last Wednesday night and abandoned her in the Oakland Hills after forcing her to withdraw cash from ATMs. Police are searching for the two men who abducted a 57-year-old woman as she was leaving her work place at the Shadelands Business Park around 7:30 p.m. last Wednesday. The woman was walking to her car in the business center’s empty parking lot when the two men ran up to her and forced her into her own car before tying her up and blindfolding her, police said. The suspects drove the woman to various locations to withdraw money from ATMs before they abandoned her in an isolated area in the Oakland Hills, according to police. The suspects got away in a smaller, older dark colored pickup truck, possibly a Toyota, with a loud muffler, police said.

The woman freed herself and called 911. Oakland police responded and sought medical attention for the woman. Walnut Creek police then took over the investigation. The woman has since recovered from most of her injuries and is doing well, Walnut Creek police said. Police released photos today that captured one of the suspects at a drive-by bank ATM. Police hope to identify the men, including the man in the photos who went by the name “Aubrey.”

The second suspect, whose photo was not released, went by the name “David.” Police emphasized that investigators do not know if these are the suspects’ actual names.

The men were described as two white men in their early 20s. The first man, or “Aubrey,” is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 185 pounds with broad shoulders and short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a light colored T-shirt under a black zip-up collared shirt, and jeans. The other suspect, who went by “David,” was about 5 feet 9 inches, with a slight build weighing about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a mask, a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood on and jeans.
