* Man shot in leg in East Palo Alto

A man was shot in the leg in East Palo Alto on Saturday night. Officers responded around 7:45 p.m. Saturday to reports of shots fired near the intersection of Gonzaga Street and Notre Dame Avenue, police said. Officers arriving on the scene found a 34-year-old East Palo Alto man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, according to police. The man was taken to a hospital to be treated for the wound, where he was listed in stable condition Saturday night. The shooting remains under investigation.
