* Woman Critically Injured In San Francisco’s Western Addition Shooting Early Saturday

A woman was critically injured when she was shot while sitting in her car in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood early Saturday morning, police said today. The shooting was reported at 3:54 a.m. in the 1200 block of Pierce Street. After she was shot, the 30-year-old victim hit the gas pedal and crashed into a parked car, police said. She was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made in the case.
