* Fairfield Police Arrest Four Men on Alleged Weapons Charges After Traffic Stop

Fairfield police arrested four people Saturday after a traffic stop turned up several illegal firearms. The arrests occurred after an officer stopped a car on North Texas Street at Hawthorn Drive around 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, police said. After a passenger was found to have a loaded semi-automatic handgun in his waistband, a search of the car revealed three more loaded semi-automatic handguns, one of which was reported stolen from Dixon.

Police arrested Blake Johnson, 22, of Vallejo, Wade Wilson, 20, of Vallejo, Jason Antone, 22, of Stockton and Imran Escorcia, 23, of Fairfield. Charges included possession of a loaded and concealed firearm, possession of a firearm as a convicted felon, possession of high capacity magazines, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a controlled substance and being armed in the commission of a felony, police said.
