A 51-year-old American Canyon woman who went missing on Friday has been found safe, authorities said. The woman, Linda Evans, has dementia and is bipolar and was considered “at risk” in part because did not have her medication with her when she disappeared, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office.
She does not have a car and was believed to be traveling by bus or on foot. Evans lives in American Canyon but spends time in Napa, sheriff’s officials said. The sheriff’s office announced this morning that Evans was found in Vallejo and is OK.
